Search engine market share in the US – June results
Posted July 15th, 2010 by peterAs expected nielsonwire reports Google was the top search site in June, with almost 2/3rds of the search market share of all US searches during the month.
Google has lost 1.1% share over the past year according to their figures, but there is some movement between Bing and Yahoo compared to May. Bing has picked up 4.5% (or a 50% increase for them) of the market at the expense of Yahoo and AOL search.
The top 5 search sites which include AOL and Ask.com with the top 3 accounts for nearly 96% of all search traffic
