Certificate in Small Business Mangement
Posted January 26th, 2009 by peterLast year both Craig and Peter attended the Certificate in Small Business Management course. Course content includes Small Business Management, Business Law, Marketing, People Management, Small Business Accounting and Financial Management.
While the course is targeted to people who are considering starting a business, we both found the course very worth while. It enabled us to learn in a formal way some of things we had discovered and learned by experience, but also things that we were not doing properly or not at all.
The course committed us to one night a week for most of 2008, and to "homework" most weeks. It helped us identify some weaknesses that we were aware of (and some did not know it), then put action plans into place to deal with them.
We recommend this course, even if you have been in business for a while.
