Real Estate agent filing defamation claim against Google
Posted February 9th, 2008 by peterThis is sort of funny, but probably not for the person concerned, one Mark Forytarz of Melbourne. If you do a search on Google for Mark the result page shows him as not being a very nice person in his real estate profession. The top 2 results are directed related to the story and it is easy to see why he is not happy.
Mark caught Consumer advocate Neil Jenman attention in the way he did a dealt with a mentally challenged man into selling his home in order to earn a $200k+ commission. Neil made a couple of posts about the deal on websites, and the results are obvious.
If the total story is true (there are two sides to any story of course), imagine what that is doing to Mark’s real estate dealings in the future. We found the original story here.
Do you really think that Google cares? Probably not.
The moral of the story? Pretty obvious really.
