Anyone would think we have been on holiday
Posted January 22nd, 2008 by peterIf you have been following our blog, you naturally think we have all been on holiday from 21 December last year to today – 22 January. Actually Craig and I worked through the Christmas/New Year holidays, generally stopping only for the stat days and weekends.
Having a lot of work on, we have expectations to realise for clients, so only Gareth took the time out. We have a new team member, Sally McDonald, who joined us on the 7 January. Sally is helping Gareth in a graphics and creative role @ web one. We will be adding Sally’s profile to www.web1.co.nz in the next few days.
As far as internet news is concerned, despite the constant flow of news, in our opinion there has been very little interesting stuff over the past month. Some Xtra customers have been complaining about lost services again, but that is pretty much the norm these days anyway. We have seen another spam spike in early January, and have taken measures to further decrease server loads by handling spam slightly differently so 80% of spam does not even get into our email system now.
But essentially we will be starting to post reasonably regularly again now. Look for our first (apart from this) post for 2008 later today. It may have something to do with Google people buying into a Wairarapa vineyard
