New Zealand accommodation operators being scammed

Many of our clients are accommodation operators. Motels, Motor lodges, bed and breakfasts, hotels etc. Whilst we have not personally heard of such an issue, it has been reported that some New Zealand accommodation operators are being sucked in by bogus travel agents making bookings using stolen credit cards. They make a booking on "behalf" of a so called client using a stolen credit card, then ask for their commission to be paid back to them.

It seems that New Zealand is not the only country being targeted, but it is happening world wide. More….
